What are the benefits of Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that promotes balance and relaxation. It is based on the idea that a universal life force energy flows through all living things and that this energy can be harnessed to promote healing and well-being.

Reiki practitioners - through the use of intention, meditation and focus- become a conduit or a bridge for the “universal life force” (Reiki) to support the animal in need. 

By nature animal Reiki is balanced and harmonious. When animals are stressed, injured, or sick there is an energetic imbalance. By offering a connection to the universal life force through Reiki techniques,  creating the right environment, the animal can re-connect to the pure balanced energy and harmony, relax and self-heal.  Animals intuitively recognize and understand the power of Reiki.

Allison offers Animal Reiki services, including traditional in-animal sessions and distance healing.  Every animal may react differently to a Reiki session. In some, results are seen right away, and in some it takes a bit longer, or a few additional sessions. Remember it is all up to the animal.

Animal In-Person Reiki - $75  

Offered in Sarasota Area

I will arrive at the time of the appointment. The Reiki offering will last approximately 20 - 30 minutes, and we will have time after that to discuss anything that may have come up during the session.

Animal In-Person Reiki - $95

Offered in Sarasota Area

I will arrive at the time of the appointment. The Reiki offering will last approximately 45 minutes, and we will have time after that to discuss anything that may have come up during the session.

Medical Reiki at your chiropractic or veterinary clinic or hospital for pre-surgery, during surgery or post-surgery.  - $100

Outside of the Sarasota area there is an additional $10 charge along with $2.00 per mile round trip.

Preparing for the session

Please be sure to select a time for the session where your animal is in a quiet, peaceful place (if possible), where distractions are minimized. Turn off radios, tv’s, phones, etc. 

You are welcomed to be with your animal during the session and also receive Reiki, however this is not necessary. 

During the Reiki session your animal (and/or you) may go into a deep sleep or may stay alert as usual. All happens as it should and it is perfectly fine! Animals are the leaders in the sessions and they will allow only as much as the universal life force energy in as the desire. Allow them to do whatever they please, it is all part of the healing journey. 

Please keep in mind it is normal for your animal may feel tired after the session. Plan to take it easy and give some quiet time at least 24 hours after the session, while the energy flows through. Stay aware for any shifts in behavior and open to the magic of Reiki’s healing potential. 

We do require payment before the session starts so that you are not worried about the fees during the session.  In Person sessions have the option of paying by Venmo, Zelle or cash.
